Patricia A. Morris

Patricia A. Morris, 89 of Camden DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 10, 2025, at Complete Care of Silver Lake, where she had been a resident for one year. She was

born on April 15, 1936, to the late Dewey and Maxine Parrish of Burlington, North Carolina.

Patsy graduated high school in Burlington and married Floyd W. Morris in 1955. They became a military family and traveled the world until he retired at Dover Air Force Base in 1976.

Patsy worked for the City of Dover until her retirement in 2001. Patsy loved reading, following Nascar, playing games and spending time with her family and closest friends.

Patsy’s beloved husband, Floyd, preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Keith) Rieker of Peoria, Illinois, and Cheryl (Kevin) Nemith of Camden, Delaware, and one son, Christopher W. Morris of Pennsylvania. Patsy had 7 grandchildren: C. Matthew Morris, Tara (Brett) Shegogue, Joel (Andrea) Rieker, Hailey (Peter) Lyons, Samuel Rieker, Julianne Nemith, and Christopher Morris. She was also blessed with 5 great grandchildren.

 Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, DE. Interment will be on August 28th at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington, NC and will be private.
