Patricia Ann (Gooslin) Mayhorn

On March 18, 2025, Patricia Ann Mayhorn, aged 84 of Camden, DE, peacefully passed away in her sleep at home surrounded by family. Born on April 15, 1940 in Gooslin Bottom, KY she was the cherished daughter of John and Eunice Gooslin.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her husband and best friend of 61 years, Marcus Mayhorn and 3 children Marcus Keith Mayhorn, Gregory Mayhorn and Lisa Marie Evans.  She is survived by her daughter Sondra Souder and son Kenneth Mayhorn and grandchildren Melissa K Ferdinando, Eric Souder,  Courtney Hacker, Mandi Mayhorn, Matthew Yates, Skylar Mayhorn,  Tiffany Wheeler, Corrie Unsworth, Morgan Reynolds,  Justin Mayhorn and Casey Moore, who was her caretaker, and several great grandchildren, and her sisters Joan Key, Brenda Holland and Darlene Dotson.  

A enthusiastic servant of God, she played church piano for Full Gospel church for many years.  And retired from Playtex.  She loved working in her flower beds and watching her grandchildren.  Her door was always open and a meal ready for anyone who came in her door.   

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
