Norman Woods Steward, 94, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2025. Norman was born on December 27, 1930, in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Herb and Ethel Steward. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Campbell Steward; and four stepchildren, Faye Glanden, Angela Owens, Scott Bowling and Rodney Bell.
Norman was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed old movies, especially war and cowboy movies.
Norman is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra Steward; children Ethel Lewis (Rick) of Clayton, Delaware and Norman W. Steward of Smryna, Delaware; 2 grandchildren, Rick Lewis and Melissa Lewis; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 stepson, James Bowling of Dover, Delaware; many step grandchildren; numerous step great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandsons; as well as extended family and friends.
