Norman Vance Darke, Sr., 82, of Felton, Delaware passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Norman was born in Bancroft, Maine to the late Ira and Emma Darke. Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Emma; brother, Roger Darke and sister, Donna Levensalor.

Norman proudly served his country in the United States Army and later became a truck driver, which brought him to Delaware. He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Norman will be remembered as a family man, he loved spending time with loved ones.

Norman is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Darke; his 3 children, Norman Darke, Jr., Darin Darke (Patty) and Angette Darke; 3 grandchildren, Hannah Darke, Reily Darke and Ronny Hudson; 3 sisters, Lorraine Wentworth, Doris Washburn and Debbie Cox (Merle); as well as numerous extended family and friends.
