Norma Pizzadili Obituary

Heaven gained another angel, Norma “ Jean or Jeannie” Pizzadili passed away
peacefully on February 23, 2024 at home surrounded by her daughters. She was
born May 6, 1948 in Milford, Delaware to Charles Layton Farrow and Christine
“Mom-Mom Peaches” Farrow, who both preceded her in death. Jeannie was raised
in Felton, Delaware, where she graduated from Felton High School and was active
and extremely good in sports such as field hockey, basketball, softball, and even
bowling as she got older.
At the age of 17 ½ years old, Jeannie met the love of her life, Pete Pizzadili. He
gave her everything that she wanted in life especially to be a wife and mother to
their two daughters, Wendy and Angela Pizzadili. On March 31, 2020, she lost her
beloved Pete to Kidney failure and unfortunately, she had not been the same
Jeannie that everyone knew and loved after his death. All she wanted was to be
with her Petie again.
Losing her has been heartbreaking but knowing that her and her Petie are together
again has given us comfort. If we could all be so blessed! Jeannie was truly blessed
to have so many special people in her life. She has survived by two daughters,
Wendy Pizzadili and Angela Pizzadili; Michelle Burgess, who she considered her
third daughter; Aaron Dickinson (and his family) and David McGinnis, who she
considered to be her sons; her sister Patricia Ann Farrow Schumacher and brother
in law Rod; her two nephews, Daniel James Silverhorn and Eric Christopher Beal.
She was preceded in death not only by her parents and husband but her cousin,
Martha Jean (Ginger) Tribbett, who was like a sister to her and her niece, Christal
Dawn Silverhorn.
We hope that you will be able to attend her services this Saturday, March 16, 2024
at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Delaware. Her viewing is from 10 AM until 12 PM and her service will be
at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery.  There will be a gathering at Pizzadili Winery in Felton, DE after the
burial services. In lieu of flowers, contributions would greatly appreciated and may
be made to Manship Church, 4912 Burnite Mill Road, Felton, DE 19943. God
bless you all!
