Nancy June (McDaniel) Ireland

     Nancy J Ireland went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family.  Nancy was born Nancy J McDaniel in Fireco, West Virginia on November 28, 1937 to the late Glen McDaniel and Mary Lee Barker. 

     Nancy enjoyed many hobbies such as bingo, playing cards with friends on Saturday nights, and breakfast on Sunday mornings at Boscov’s with family.  Nancy loved going to yard sales, antique shopping and going to the casino.  Throughout her early life, she had many jobs as a waitress. She loved meeting new people and taking care of others. She worked as a DART bus driver for 16 years. After her retirement in 2003, she drove the activities bus for the Milford Senior Center until she was 80 years old.  She always kept herself busy and wanted to be on the go, and always wanted to take care of everyone around her. 

      Nancy was preceded in death by her husband John, her first husband Vernon Bradley, her brothers David and Bobby McDaniel, also her mother and father and stepfather Jean (Paul) Barker.  She was survived in death by her children, Eddie Bradley of Smyrna, Kenneth Bradley and wife Charlene Cole of Smyrna, Kathy Wilson and adopted daughter Deb Valenti of Cheswold, Brenda Sullivan of Dover, Becky and husband William Johnson of Smyrna. eleven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. 

     A funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE  19934 where there will be a viewing from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Thursday.  Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
