Msgt. Terry Missler Obituary

    Msgt. Terry Preston Missler, U.S.A.F., Ret., passed away peacefully in his daughters home, Monday, July 19, 2021. He was 88.

    Terry was born April 18, 1933 in Portland, Oregon to the late, Gale & Marianne(Klemmer) Missler. He served proudly in the United States Air Force for 25 years, as a flight engineer on the C-141’s and C-5’s, and as an instructor on the C-5’s. After retiring, he drove Seattle City Buses, managed apartment buildings in Phoenix, and drove a school bus for the Capital School District for many years.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlene(Forge) Missler in 2008.

    Terry is survived by a sister, Judith Harrison, of Portland, Oregon; 4 children, Kimberly Luciano & husband, Wayne, with whom he resided; Charles Missler, of Seattle; Terry Missler, of Seattle; and Cynthia Hartnett & husband, Patrick , of Dover; 2 grandchildren, Joshua and his wife, Jennifer of Marydel and Crystal and her husband, Chris, of Dover; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Shelby, and Haley.

    The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the care and compassion shown to Terry by all the nurses & aides from Bayada Hospice.
