Mary Kay “ Kit “ Rolling, age 91, of Dover, Delaware, passed away from natural causes at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE.
She was born on March 20, 1933, in Johnstown, PA, to Mildred and Walter Hurd. A loving mother of three children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, Mary Kay was known for her friendly and happy demeanor, bringing joy to everyone she met.
Mary Kay will be deeply missed by her children James Rolling of Houston, DE; Darlene Laurita of Jackson, NJ; and Rob and wife Alesia Rolling of Oradell, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Ward of Delmar, MD; Patrick Schmidt of East Rutherford, NJ; and Avery Rolling of Oradell, NJ, as well as her great-grandchildren Max Sweeney of Houston, DE; Ashton Sweeney of Delmar, DE; and Alexis Ward of Delmar, DE.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to her caregivers, especially the staff at Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE.
