Mary Louise "Weezy" (Pressley) Pearsall

Mary Louise Pearsall was born on May 20, 1960 in Raleigh, North Carolina, to the late Charles William & Myrtle Virginia Pressley.

Mary Louise departed this life on July 30, 2020 at Christiana Hospital.  Mary Louise, known to most as "Weezy," enjoyed gardening, crochet, spending time with her family and reading books.  Mary Louise really enjoyed spending time reading her Bible, looking up scriptures and words to understand their meaning.  Her favorite quote was "I've been through the storm and the rain."  Mary Louise had a sense of humor and a way of making you laugh.

Mary Louise attended Milford School District.  She had several different jobs:  King cole, Superfresh, Sea Watch, Goodwill & Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Mary Louise was raised in Philadelphia Pentecostal Church and continued as a member her entire life.  In her earlier years, she served on the Usher Board, and she also helped out in DCUSA. Mary Louise attended Bible study at the Cheer Center in Slaughter Neck on Wednesday's, where Bishop Foster would teach.  Mary Louise loved listening and talking to her pastor, Bishop Major Foster.

Mary Louise was preceded in death by both her parents, Charles William Pressley & Myrtle Virginia Pressley and her sister, Kathleen Watson.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Rudolph Pearsall of Milford, DE; 4 children, Eric Williams of Dover, DE, Marika Pressley of Milford, DE, Damien Pressley of of Ellendale, DE & Darris Pressley of Dover, DE; 3 sisters, Shirley Harris (Bridgeport, CT), Rebecca Pressley(Harrington, DE), & Rodise Pressley (Georgetown, DE);  1 brother, Solomon Pressley (Ellendale, DE); 4 grandchildren, Monique Pressley (Dover, DE), Damien Stevens and Ka'ji Stevens (Elendale, DE) & Phillip Pressley (Milford, DE), an aunt Louise Broadnax (Connecticut); extended family and a host of friends. Funeral Service Monday, August 10, 2020, 12 Noon at Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church, Ellendale, DE.  Friends may view beginning at 10 am.  Interment to follow, Mt. Zion AME Cemetery, Ellendale, DE
