Mary Hazel Parks

Mary Hazel Parks, age 95 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2019.  Mary was born in Pikesville, North Carolina, the daughter of John & Rachel Perry.  Some time after her arrival the family relocated to New York City.  She was married to Solomon Bizzell.  They were blessed with a son Solomon Bizzell.

She was a homemaker who loved to provide for others.  Her family loved her fried chicken, pancakes and other home cooked items.  A Godly woman who praised the Lord, Mary was described as an awesome mother who raised her son well.  In her free time she liked watching gospel shows.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Bizzell, her parents and her grandson Jawuan Smith. 

Mary is survived by her son Solomon Bizzell and his wife Dorothea; her grandchildren, Ginger Bizzell, Solomon "Sam" John Bizzell Jr., Desaun Solomon-Bizzell, Xcia Briona Bizzell; great grandchildren, Solomon, Donna, Swazette, Sharene, Christine, Kash, K’yvan & Khyana; great, great grandchildren Layla, Kayden & Serenity.

Funeral Service Friday, November 15, 2019, 11 am at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, DE.  Friends may call beginning at 10 am.  Interment Williamsville Cemetery, Williamsville. DE
