Mary Ellen Williams

     Mary Ellen Williams, of Dover, went home to be with Lord, Saturday, May 30, 2020, in her home. She was 75.

    Mary Ellen was born June 6, 1944 in Marydel, DE to the late, William Berry & Helen(Baynard) Morris. She had worked for many years as a chef for various restaurants before retiring. In her free time she enjoyed painting, cooking, reading, traveling, and serving as a Missionary for the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Dover.

    In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by the father of her children Jesse James Williams; and 2 brothers, William & Robert Baynard.

    She is survived by 6 children, Nancy Hayden, of Jacksonville, Florida; Jesse Williams, of Roswell, Georgia; Robert Williams, of San Antonio, Texas; Ralph Williams, of Newport News, Virginia; Evon Jones, of Miami, Florida; and Evette Williams of Greenville, South Carolina. Her 3 sisters, Myrtle Watkins, Helen Chance, and Barbara Mallory, all of Dover; as well as a host of grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

    A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2pm in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 25 Jerusalem Way, Dover, DE 19904.  Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
