Martha Ellen (Bennett) Gooden

     Martha Ellen Gooden, 91, of Dover, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at home.  She was born on December 23, 1934, in West Virginia to the late Scott and Iva Stoneking Bennett.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Gooden, brother Sam Bennett of West Virginia, son Mark Nesselroad and Holly Nesselroad.

     Martha is survived by her son Mike Gooden of Woodside and grandson Mike Gooden, Jr. of Dover and best friend and caregiver Shelby Burd.

     Services and burial were private.
