It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Hanna, who departed this life on March 15, 2026, at his home in Magnolia, Delaware.
Born on November 14, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, Mark was a man on the go. He traveled for work, moved around the country, and liked to try new things. Mark spent his professional life in sales—a career perfectly suited for a man who never met a person he couldn’t talk to and he could never quite sit still. Though he officially retired in 2023, the quiet life of retirement didn't stick. Within months, he was back on the road as a part-time bus driver, simply because he loved to stay busy and be a part of the world around him.
When he wasn’t working, Mark enjoyed being at home with his family and friends. He was a lifelong "putterer"—a man who found peace in a full toolbox and a project that needed doing. If it was broken, Mark would try to fix it; if it was working, he’d find a way to make it better.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Margaret Hanna; his three daughters, Megan Hanna, Morgan D’Angiolini, and Molli Worrell; and four grandchildren, Maddy, Colt, Savannah, and Sadie, his two sisters, Cynthia Hanna and Marlene Harrer.
He joins his parents Jack and Lucille Hanna in eternal rest.
Mark, may you find comfort in heaven as your family mourns and misses you. We are laying your burdens down, so you may rest in peace.
Mark has chosen to be cremated and to wait for Margaret to join him.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony planned for June 13, 2026.
