In Loving Memory of Margarito Flores
Passed on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margarito Flores, a man whose kindness, strength, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the joy of knowing him. Born with a heart full of compassion and a soul rooted in hard work and laughter. Margarito was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like family.
Whether you were a lifelong friend or a stranger crossing his path, he gave you his time, respect, and genuine warmth.
Though he had no children of his own, Margarito’s love knew no limits. He treated every child—especially his beloved nieces and nephews: Diego Carrillo, Jose Jr Carrillo, Uriel Carrillo, Fernando Jr Flores, Kristal Flores, Maria Carrillo, Juan Carrillo, and Fernanda Flores—as if they were his own. His guidance, laughter, and big-hearted presence will remain with them always.
He was the devoted husband of over 30 years to Sanjuana Carrillo, the love of his life, with whom he shared a deep, joyful, and enduring bond. Margarito also leaves behind his loving brother Fernando Flores, his sister Maria Lares, and his close friend and brother-in-law Jose Carrillo (Charrito). He is now reunited with his parents, Cecilio Flores and Leonor Saucedo who surely welcomed him with open arms.
His absence leaves a silence only his memory can fill, but his legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in all of us.
Viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Holy Cross Church, 631 S State St, Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be private.
After the service, a final gathering will be held at Holy Cross ELC, where family and friends are welcome to share food, drinks, stories, and memories in Margarito’s honor.
He lived fully, loved deeply, and left this world better than he found it.
Rest easy, Margarito. You will always be missed, and never forgotten.
