Margaret "Mrs. Molly" Heath

     Margaret (Mrs. Molly) Heath, age 81, following an illness, departed her earthly existence at home, in Delaware where she resided with her daughter on Friday, August 27, 2021.  She was the oldest of two children to the late Clinton and Elizabeth Mayes. 

     Margaret attended and graduated from Central Commerce High School in New York City.  Years later, Margaret began her career at Bankers Trust Company in New York City as an Accounting Specialist.  Margaret retired from Bankers Trust Company after 25 years of service.  After retirement, Margaret focused on the creation of arts and crafts.  In addition to arts and craft, Margaret also had a vegetable garden.

     Margaret was married to the late Harold Earl Heath for 30 years on December 29, 1964.  From that union, they had a daughter, Crystal.  They also raised Margaret’s son, the late, Dexter Watkins. 

     When Margaret lived in New York, she touched many people with her kind spirit, generosity and caregiving for others.  Margaret was a true matriarch and was always willing to help those in need.  Margaret volunteered at a local senior center.  

      In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Moore and her grandson, Edwin Jamal Heath, Sr.  Margaret’s legacy lives on as she is survived by her daughter Crystal.  She also leaves two grandsons, Kiran and Dexter; five great-grandchildren; Sariyah, Ryan, Edwin, Jr, Julius, and Neysa.  Margaret also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
