Luther C. Wagner 93 passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022 at Kent General Hospital. He was born on December 25th, 1928 to Joseph and Emeline Wagner.
He worked at Beck & Company for many years before working at Wesley College, then moving on to the Cesar Rodney School District as a custodian. Upon retiring he and his wife enjoyed taking bus trips with friends from their local senior center. He was an avid carved duck collector. He had a kind word for everyone and usually a funny story to share as well. He was a lifetime member of the Camden Wyoming Fire Company.
Lou was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Helen, as well as his parents, brothers Joe, Bob, and Bill, sisters Dorothy Wilkerson, Ruth Wootten, Katherine Hayes and a son Bill. He is survived by his stepson Steven Boylan, stepdaughter Maureen Welsh, two grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Camden Fire Company or a charity of your choice.
