Lois (Jean) Bell of Marydel Delaware (formally of Minquadale, New Castle Delaware), a beloved sister, Mother, grandmother, Great-grandmother, wife and friend passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025. She was surrounded by her family at the age of 94. She was born on March 11, 1931 in the county of Fayette ,PA and in the town of Lewistown. She was proceeded in death by her (mother and father) Mr.& Mrs. Edwards, beloved husband Paul K. Bell, (sister) Helen Hackenberg and (son) Paul K Bell Jr.
Lois is survived by her daughter Elaine Gallo (late Ron Gallo), granddaughter Tammy Megill (Mike Megill), grandson Paul Gallo (Christi Cofield), great gandchildren Michael Megill, Logan Gallo, Lennon Gallo & Areli Gallo. Lois does have extended family in multiple parts of the United States and in Germany.
Lois was a long time member of the Minquadale Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary for 30 plus years. Lois worked at Burger King for 13 years and was a homemaker most of her life. Lois will be remembered for her passion for life. Her favorite things were game shows via the Game Show Network, doing puzzles and being with her family. Lois also liked to travel to Lancaster PA and Florida and loved visiting Disney World in Orlando. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Lois.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware, there will be a gathering from 5:00-6:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
