Linda Joyce Dean

Linda Joyce Dean, 75,  of Dover, Delaware passed on November 24, 2024.  Linda was born in Dover, Delaware to the late James and Betty McGinnis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna McGinnis; and her best friend, Freda Sammons.

Linda was a nurse for over 31 years.  She loved cats as was known as the cat lady and the cat whisperer.

She is survived by her husband, Gale Dean; close family friend, Tina Campbell; brother-in-law, Jay Husfelt; nephews, Paul Mumford and Steve Mumford; as well as extended family and friends. 

A funeral service for Linda will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00am at Pippin Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to the local SPCA.
