Lillian Octavia (Hackett) Wright

Lillian Octavia Wright, daughter of the late Reverend Phillip and Hattie Hackett was born in Sudlersville, Queen Anne’s County Maryland on July 15, 1928. She departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at The Moorings at Lewes Senior Living Community.

She was educated at Queen Anne’s County schools and graduated from Kennard High School, Centreville, MD. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, the late Thomas Franklin Wright. To this union, five children were born, William (deceased), Audrey, Clifford, Thelma and Charlotte (deceased).

She was employed many years at the Campbell Soup Company in Chestertown, Maryland. She was also a domestic worker in Maryland and Delaware. 

She was an active member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Ellendale, Delaware.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, eight grandchildren and many great 

grandchildren.
