Leona Amy Price

     Leona (Lee) Amy Price, 94 of Dover, Delaware passed away on May 20, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

     She was born on August 22, 1931 in Chester, Pennsylvania, to the late Palmer and Matilda Walls.

     Leona worked as a waitress for over 35 years between Drawyers Tavern in Odessa, DE, and the Wagon Wheel in Smyrna, DE.

     She attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Smyrna, Delaware. Leona loved family gatherings when everyone came together, especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters four rat terriers, especially sugar.

     She is predeceased by her husband Albert Price, Sr. of 40 years, her two sons, Wayne Price and Charles Price, and her great-grand daughter Lyneah.

     Leona is survived by her two sons, Albert (Amy) of Tampa, Fl., Bob (Lynn) Price Clayton, one daughter Diane Price (Allen) Kurtz, Dover, grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Price, Jason (Alicia) Kurtz, Tricia (Tim) Furr, Kim (Anthony) Pepper, Danielle (Ed) Martino, Lucy, Jamie, Faith, Rosa, Heather (Dashon) Long Harris, Allen Long, great-grandchildren, Jason, Savannha, Josh, Kathleen, Eric, Jaden, Lenny, Miracle, Jamal Taylor, Gregory, and Abby.

     A graveside memorial burial of her urn will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Port Penn, Delaware.
