Lawrence Lavon “Von” Lindsay, 32, of Camden passed away on June 9, 2021 at home.
Lawrence was currently employed as a para educator for the Sussex Consortium and had been there for about three years. Previously, he had been employed as a phlebotomist for Beebe Hospital for about a year. Von enjoyed working out and enjoyed playing basketball. Lawrence also liked to play, watch, and coach football. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. One of the things that Von enjoyed the most was spending time with his children and his family.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Wendy Stevens; four children: Baylee R. Stevens, Cianna M. Lindsay, Isaiah D. Stevens and Kaylee R. Miller, all at home; his father, William L. “Will” Lindsay and his wife Shequita of Ellendale; his mother Lisa Maria Scott and her significant other Rick of Milton; his paternal grandmother Lena Mae Lindsay of Chester, PA; his brother William “Eric” Lindsay and his fiancé LaKisha of Lewes; four sisters: Toshia Lindsay and her husband Craig of Milton, Daarina Wetterich and her husband Yancy of Harrington, Zaimah Shabazz of Dover and Raisha Jones of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Monday. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
