    Kenneth Earl Alston, of Frederica, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital.  He was 86.

     Kenneth was born November 5, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late, Wilbur R.& Lillian Boyd(Carter) Alston. He served proudly in the United States Air Force for over 31 years before retiring with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Anita Mary(Marshall) Alston, who passed in 2019; and his siblings, Clinton B. Alston, Wilbur R. Alston, Jr.; and Melva Posey.

   Kenneth  is survived by his 2 sons, Kenneth Earl Alston, Jr. & wife, Izabela, of Tokyo, Japan; and Karl Anthony Alston & wife Vickie, of East Granby,Connecticut; a daughter, Valerie Anita Cherry & husband, Wayde, of Camden; 4 grandchildren, Joyale Richardson & husband, Darren; Kenneth E. Alston, III & wife, Peaches; Lisa Alston & Jerrard Alston. And 4 great-grandchildren, Cencere Richardson, Legacy Richardson, King Richardson & Genysis Anita Alston.

    Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Friday, January 29, 2021, in the Dover Christian Church, 1738 Forrest Ave., Dover; where family and friends may view 1 hour before, adhering to the current Covid-19 restrictions of mask wearing, social distancing, and 45 people maximum at a time. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 2pm, in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. Condolences may be sent via:
