Kelly W. Dickerson of Felton, passed away on January 16, 2021. He was born on January 31, 1974, the son of Beverly J. Hand and Donald Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents, 3 uncles and 1 aunt.
He is survived by his beloved son Jacob C. Dickerson; his mother Beverly and stepfather Thomas Doc Holliday; his sister Jodie L. (JoJo) Holliday; his significant other, Mandee Griffith and her son Noah; his best friends Jason and Darla Courtney and their daughters Stephanie & Jada; his beloved dog Whiskey, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Kelly was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Kelly also had a love of sports. He played little league and big league baseball. At Dover High School, he played football, wrestled, and participated in track & field. He also played football for Wesley College. As an adult, he played softball for a number of leagues sponsored through Dover Parks and Recreation, participating from his early 20s into his early 40s.
He supported many charitable events: the Special Olympics, Autism Awareness and many others. Kelly had a big heart of gold and would always help anyone.
Hopefully in the near future his family will have a celebration of his life at Little Creek Fire Company when it is safer for us to gather. A private, by invite only service will take place on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3 pm. Those invited may gather beginning at 2 pm. Live stream available at www.pippinfuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Autism Awareness, the Delaware Food Bank or Dover Parks and Recreation.
