Judith "Judi" Robinson Obituary

Judith “Judi” L. Robinson, 75, of New Castle passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Judi was born in Wilmington, DE, to the late Harold and Helen Baker (Land).

Judi was a homemaker, wife, mother and a proud grandmother to her fur-babies.  Along with her love of animals she was an avid collector of pig figurines, long car rides with her soulmate and you could often find her tinkering with woodworking projects in the basement. She had a strong passion and desire to learn new things, so much so she went back to obtain her diploma in 1995 where she was named Valedictorian of her class. She enjoyed going to Dover Downs and the Borgata with her husband to play the slots. One of Judi’s favorite memories to share was when they went to Las Vegas for their 30th wedding anniversary, where they renewed their vows as a surprise arranged by her loving husband.

In addition to her loving family, she was loved by many of her children’s friends who called her “Mom”.  She was always willing to lend a listening ear, a forgiving heart and the best advice.  Judi was a gentle soul and never met a stranger.

Judi is survived by her husband of 54 years, Patrick W. Robinson; two daughters Christine M. Robinson (Steve Stegg) of Middletown; Nicole L. Robinson of New Castle; her granddaughter Savannah Stegg of Middletown; brother Ronnie Baker of Bear; her sister Sharon Miller of Port Angeles, WA; and brother in law Walter Ratasiewicz of Wilmington, DE.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
