Judith Ann Sylvester, 76 of Camden, Delaware passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Delaware Hospice, Milford Campus with her family by her side.
Judy was born May 11, 1948 in Dover, Delaware to the late Edward Wooters and late Emma (Kitty) Catherine Neeman. Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Sylvester of 54 years, a step - father Roland Neeman and a sister in-law Joy Wooters.
She is survived by a son, Troy and his wife Stacy, three grandchildren Sierra (Ja’Von), Ashlynn (Harry), Weston and two great- granddaughters Paris and Ella, all of Hartly. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Wooters of North Carolina and a nephew Brett Wooters of Pennsylvania.
She worked as a secretary for the Dept. of Education until having their son. She drove Caesar Rodney School District bus routes for Blakey Bus Co. before joining her husband as the Accounting Secretary in the family-owned business, Advance Construction Co. of DE until they retired, passing the business to their son.
Judy spent most of her time outside pruning her flower beds and cutting grass. She enjoyed taking short trips with her step-sister Nancy Vosberry and arts and crafts with her friend Sabrina Morrow. Judy also enjoyed the beach, fishing and spending time on the water with her family. Judy and her husband delighted in yearly cruises to the tropical islands.
A funeral service for Judith will take place on Monday on March 17, 2025 at 11:30am at Pippin Funeral Home 119 West Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 10:30am. Burial is scheduled to be at the Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro, DE. Condolences may be sent via.pippinsfuneralhome.com.
