Judith Ann Miller , lovingly known as Judy, age 83 of Dover Delaware passed away peacefully on December 14th 2025, surrounded by love.
Born September 13th 1942 in Lewiston Maine. Judy was a devoted Catholi faith guided her life and values. She was a woman of deep love, strong spirit and unwavering dedication to her family. Judy was married to the love of her life William Harry Miller for 48 years before he preceded her in death on June 8, 2014.
Judy is survived by her beloved son , William Harry Miller and daughter-in-law Karen Miller, and cherished grandchildren Katelyn and William Iii.She is also survived by a sister Frances (Grant), and brothers Richard Guite and Nick Branch. She had a special place in her heart for her numerous nephews and niece, cousins, and extended family, all of whom she loved dearly.
Judy was truly a fire cracker— gregarious, full of life and blessed with a heart of gold. Her family always came first and she devoted her life to caring for and supporting them. She worked for many years in insurance before retiring, after which she dedicated her time to helping children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate A role that reflected her compassion and commitment to others.
Judy found joy in playing the piano, had a keen eye for fashion and absolutely adored jewelry. An avid Ohio State fan, she also enjoyed watching the Steelers and Eagles. Sundays were sacred to Judy not just for mass but to family dinners and quality time spent together, a tradition she cherished deeply.
Judy’s faith, love, laughter and vibrant spirit will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched with kindness, devotion and grace.
Burial and celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Delaware Hospice.
