Joyce Elaine Casad, 75, passed away on August 7, 2025 in Milford, Delaware. Born on December 4,1949 in Lafayette, Indiana, she lived a life marked by dedication to her work and deep enjoyment of her favorite past times. Joyce graduated from Rossville High School and began her professional journey with General Foods/Kraft Foods. In 1989 she relocated from Lafayette, Indiana to Delaware as part of her career with the company. After retiring from Kraft Foods, she continued working as a slot attendant at Harrington Raceway and Casino, where she remained for 21 years until illness led her to step away. Her life was enriched by the things she loved most: college basketball, fishing, NASCAR, playing slots and spending time with her family. These passions brought her joy,and created lasting memories for those around her.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Denise Casad and April Fitzgerald (Jayson Fitzgerald); grandsons Christopher Lott (Diane Hartman), Zachary Lott (Jordan Lott); great- granddaughter Adeline Lott; brother Clifford Davenport; as well as numerous nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Portia Davenport; brother William Davenport; grandparents Herbert and Nora Rose; and her granddaughter Samantha Lott.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday September 7, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Harrington Raceway and Casino Gold Room. 18500 S. Dupont Highway, Harrington, DE 19952. This will be held in the gold room inside the Harrington Slots. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Hollywood Cemetery on Milford Harrington Highway in Harrington, Delaware.
