Joseph "Joe" Alexander Zellmer

     Joseph A. “Joe” Zellmer, of Seaford, DE passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023 at the age of 70.

      Joe enjoyed sitting in his recliner listening to his CB radio, drinking a Coca-Cola and watching TV.  When Joe was working, he worked for years operating heavy equipment and driving a dump truck.

      Joe is preceded in death by his mother Lothia Zellmer, his father Harry Zellmer, his brothers Wilton and Aubrey Beverly and his sister Louise Wine, all of Maryland.

     Joe is survived by his wife of 18 years Bonnie Zellmer; his daughters Jennifer Zellmer, Katie Zellmer, Melissa Thompson and Melinda Darling (Brian).  Joe is also survived by his brothers: Donnie Zellmer, Charles Zellmer, Harry Zellmer, Jr. and his sister Cathy Keaton (Mike) of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren: Caleb, Kaden, Kelsey, Madelyn, Callista, Darren and Morgan; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.  Online condolence may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
