Joseph "Joe" E Burr

On February 8, 2025, Joseph "Joe" E. Burr, of Seaford, DE, departed this life. Joe was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on October 23, 1952.  

      Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with family and helping others. Joe also enjoyed working on cars and did so professionally at Nanticoke Automotive for over 20 years.  

      He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Mary Burr, and a brother, Robert Burr.  

     Joe is survived by three sisters, Marie Walls, Susie Burr, and Mary Maurizio; his partner, Monica Ogle; two step-children; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.  

     Services will be held at The Ark Seaford Wesleyan Church, 26630 Sussex Hwy., Seaford, Delaware, on Saturday, February 22, 2025; visitation begins at 1:00, followed by the service at 1:30.

     Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Delaware.
