John George Vrhovac

DOVER- John G. Vrhovac passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 23, 2021 at his home. John was born on May 21, 1931 to Elizabeth and John Vrhovac in Enhaut ,PA.  A graduate of Dundalk Senior High School, and Delaware State University he served in the Air Force and retired after 22 years.  He then worked and retired from Civil Service.  Some of his hobbies included BINGO, bowling and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family. John loved the Lord and served faithfully in whatever church he was a member of, either overseas or stateside.  For the last 30 years he was an active member of Whatcoat Methodist Church. John met with the Civil Engineering lunch group once a month for over 30 years. 

John was preceded in death by the love of his life, Doris; his parents; his granddaughter Kimberly. He is survived by his three children, John M., Cindy Wells (Wayne) & Rick (Jan); his grandchildren, John, Jason, Christina, Kari, Ryan, Robert, Zach, Jordan and Sarah; several great grandchildren; his sister Margaret Philips; extended family and friends. 

A family Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:30 am at Moreland Park Cemetery, Baltimore, Md.  Memorial may be made to Whatcoat UMC, Camden, Del.  www.pippinfuneralhome.com
