John William Murphy

     John W. Murphy (Murph), 60, of Clayton, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 in his home.

     He was born on October 9, 1964 in Dover, Delaware.

     John was a HVAC Technician for 42 years. He had numerous certifications and was always in high demand due to his vast knowledge and quality work.  He loved music, playing his guitars, and riding his motorcycle.  John always had a smile for everyone, and enjoyed making people laugh.
     He is survived by his life partner Luann L Opdahl, his son-Bryan W. Murphy, his daughter Jessica McGuire, several grandchildren, his brother Daniel Lord, and Bonnie Miller, who was a second mother to him.
     John was preceded in death by Alfrieda Lord, William Murphy, Arthur Lord.
     He will be greatly missed.
