John H. Miller was born Feb. 6, 1938 to Henry E. and Effie (Schrock) Miller. Died May 9, 2023. Age 85 years, 3 months, 3 days. 

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Esther A. (Byler) Miller, parents Henry E. and Effie (Schrock), and his son Andy, and 1 great-grandson.

He leaves behind his second wife Mattie D. (Yoder) Miller, and 10 children: Dorothy  (William Coblentz) Crab Orchard, KY, Daniel Narvon, PA, Emma (John Miller) Dover, DE, daughter-in-law Lydia Mae (Yoder) Hartly, DE, Rosa (John Yoder) Dover, DE, Sara (Chester Nissley) Mondovi, WI, Marvin (Ruby Troyer) Clare, MI, Toby (Effie Troyer) Wyoming, DE, Lydia 

Wyoming, DE, Laura (David Miller) Crab Orchard, KY, Susanna (David King) Wyoming, DE, 70 grandchildren, 141 great-grandchildren, 12 step-children, 75 step-grandchildren, 4 in heaven, 148 step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the home 637 Apple Grove School Road, Wyoming unti the day of service.

Funeral service will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Sam Beachy Residence, 3008 Yoder Drive, Dover.  Burial will follow at the Amish Cemetery, Route 8, Dover, DE.
