Jerome Marks Thomas

     Jerome Marks Thomas, of Dover, Delaware, was born on January 13, 1957 and peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

     Jerome was the beloved son of Emily Marks Bray and Johnnie Thomas. He was educated in the Dover Public School System and graduated from Dover High School. After graduation, he began working at Perdue Farms, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee. 

     Jerome was a man who treasured his family above all else. His greatest joy came from spending quality time with his daughter, grandchildren, and friends. Whether sharing laughter, stories, or simply enjoying each other's company, Jerome's presence brought comfort and happiness to those who loved him. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, his love for family, and the cherished memories he leaves behind. 

     Jerome was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Thomas; his sister Doris Ramona Thomas Jefferson; and his brother John Thomas. 

     He leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving daughter, Lakisa Shavasia Perry; his devoted sister Victoria Sudler (John); his brothers Derek Bray (Shelly) and Gregory Bray (Margie), all of Dover, Delaware; four beloved grandchildren; one cherished great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. 

     Though Jerome's earthly journey has ended, the love he shared and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, family, and friendship will never be forgotten.

     A memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Love Temple Community Outreach Center, 1057 S. Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904.  Burial will be private.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
