Jeffrey Aaron Connor

Jeffrey Aaron Connor, 54, passed away peacefully on October 13th. Son, brother, father, caregiver, friend.  He loved his family, family gatherings, his home in the woods; and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Jeff didn’t know how to say no to a request for a favor.

Born in Dover; attended CR High, Kent Vo-Tech and DE Technical College; worked for DELDOT for 25 years starting as draftsman, highway engineer technician and then a project manager. He later worked for Hillis Carnes Engineering Associates and more recently, Rummel Klepper and Kahl as a construction inspector.

Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earle and Frances Clinton, for whom he was a caregiver in their later years.  He is survived by his son, Boston Kyle Connor, his brother, Jesse A. Connor (wife, Laura) and his parents, David and Bette (BJ) Van Kavelaar.

 In lieu of flowers, Jeff would suggest donations to Caring Hearts Helping Hands, Inc. (PO Box 415, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934) where he volunteered.

 A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Monday, October 27th at Pippin’s Funeral Home in Wyoming. Gathering from 4-6 pm and a service at 6 pm.
