Janice (Laramore) Watkinson

     Janice Watkinson of Camden, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was 75.

     Janice was born July 27, 1946 in Dover, DE to the late, John & Flossie(Comegys) Laramore.

She worked  in the Cafeteria for the Caroline County Public School System from 1986-2000. 

Janice also owned and groomed her own horses, and was a member of the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association, and the United States Trotting Association. She loved to watch her horses race. In her free time she enjoyed  reading, doing puzzles, playing games on the computer, and watching Game Show Network. But her favorite was playing the game Sorry with her grandkids.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Laramore, Jr.

   Janice is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ben Watkinson; a son, Eddie Davis, Jr. & wife, Janet; daughter, Penny Boyd & husband, Tim; a step-daughter, Jean Dorr & husband, Thomas; her brother, Marty Laramore; 2 granddaughters, Brittany Brady & husband, Wes and Laci Stubbs & husband, Jason; 2 grandsons, Eric Davis & Timothy Boyd; 3 great-granddaughters, Ava, Emma, & Gwen; and 2 great-grandsons, Jason & Max.

   Services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, July 22, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 2 hours before.  Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
