Jane Elizabeth Witman

Jane Elizabeth Witman passed on January 27, 2026 surrounded by family. 

She was a Devoted women to God and her family with a beautiful soul and even better heart.

Jane had a love for singing for the Lord and would worship Sundays alongside her late husband Donald.

She also had an overwhelming amount of love for tiny dogs and boy did she always have a story behind each name given to them.  

From spending her earlier years in Flordia to Delaware, where she spent the remainder of her years-anywhere she went, she made it feel like home.

Jane had a fierce love for the Lord that was shown in everything she did. She was also very close with her family, no matter the distance. She had a joy for coloring by number on her iPad and watching the T.V. just a little too loud.  We sure will miss the sound of those old western shows in the background of every conversation.

She will be surely missed, but I'm sure she is up there having a long over due get together with her family ( Brothers: William, Byard, Norman and Robert Lewis; Sisters: Laura L Kashner, Dorthy L Wilson, and Sis Lewis).

She is survived by her two daughters: Faith Ann Graham Hangholt and Rebekah Jane Graham St.Dennis; her seven Grandchildren, Joseph Craig, Jesse Bell, Elizabeth P Kleinfelder, Luke C. Morley, Hannah F. Perez, Noah A. Morley, and Lydia R. Houck; and her great grandchildren, Gavin M Groden, Ryleigh E Kleinfelder, Charlotte and Mackenzie.

A Celebration of life will be held March 3, 2026 at Townsend Baptist Church, 4519 DuPont Highway, Townsend, Delaware 19734 at 11:00 am.  Friends may call beginning at 10:00 and are encouraged to join the family for a small luncheon at 12 noon.

Internment will be March 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26660 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Delaware 19966
