Jane Foraker (SHUG) 65, of Sandtown, Delaware passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 4,2025 at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus. She was born May 9, 1960 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Jane Abe and Spencer Tharp.
Jane loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also loved going fishing and enjoyed BBQs and birthdays with her family. She survived by her loving husband of 48 years James Foraker Sr of Sandtown, Delaware, her son James Foraker Jr. (Sabrinna) of Marydel, De and two daughters Lorrie Caldwell (Charlie) of Hartly, De, Jacqueline Foraker (Mark) of Sandtown,De. 20 grandchildren including step and 10 great grandkids,her brother David Tharp of Camden, De, and one sister Michele Creed (Jim) of Camden, Delaware, 4 step sisters, step brother, several nieces and nephews, two special nephews Paul Tharp and Steven Abe, and a special friend/family member Sandra Fitzcharles.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jane Abe and father Spencer Tharp, four brothers Michael Abe, William Tharp, Levi Tharp, and Ben Tharp, sister Jennie Pierce, half sister Nanette Jester and a niece Krystal Tharp.
A huge thank you to two nurses on the 4th floor of Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus Alisa and Deandrea and Delaware Hospice Nurse Leslie Ebert.
Burial is private and there will be a celebration of life at a later date once the family decides. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, De.
