James Emory Ross, Sr.

     James Emory Ross, Sr., 79, of Milford passed away on July 4, 2021 at Milford Memorial Hospital.

     He had been a production worker for Seawatch, retiring after about 20 years of service.  He enjoyed shooting a game of pool and playing cards.

     Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (Patterson) and James Emory Ross, Sr. and by his son Elwood J. Ross and by his first wife Shirley Ann Weeks.  He is survived by his wife Zona Marcia Ross;  children: Shirley Ann Weeks of Dover, James E. Ross, Jr. of Wilmington and Kevin Johnson of Wilmington, Chrissi Cannon of Magnolia; children: Rochelle Ross of Dover, Renee Weeks, of Dover, Toni Wayman of Smyrna, Blooma West of Dover, Kevin Cannon of Dover, Mia Cannon of Dover, and Shilar Cannon of Dover; three brothers: Wyoming Wayne Ross of Milford, Isaac Henry Ross and his wife Laverne of Seaford, and Larry Ross of Dover; six sisters: Sarah Emma Smith of Seaford, Margaret McDonald of Milford, Glenda Houston and her husband Jerome of Greenwood, Carolyn Carrington of New York, Mary Ross of Dover and Theresa Ross of New York; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. 

     A funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
