James Andrew Green, Jr.

    James Andrew Green, Jr., of Dover, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.

   Jim was born January 21, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late, James & Jeanette Green. He served proudly in the United States Air Force before beginning a career as an owner /operator in the Trucking Business. He also had worked for several companies before ultimately retiring from Pioneer Concrete. In his free time, Jim enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, and going to the Modern Maturity Center to spend time with friends. He was a devoted family man who loved taking care of, and spending time with his family.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Tony & Benjamin.

  James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose(Hurd) Green; 5 children, Wayne & wife, Dora; Ben & wife, Vanessa; Randy, Frank & wife, Ella; and Tina. His brother, Randy Green, of Wheeling, West Virginia; along with several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

   Services will be held 7pm, Friday, June 11, 2021, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 2 hours before. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
