Jah'Marion "Mar Mar" Wiltbank Obituary

Jah'Marion Raymond Wiltbank, affectionately known as "Mar Mar" and "Baby Player Jr," was born on September 11, 2008 to the late Jerome Raymond Wiltbank Jr. ("Player Jr") and Trenda Hicks. His life, although just beginning, was tragically cut short by a fatal automobile accident on September 20, 2025.

Jah'Marion was a bright and talented young man who attended Caesar Rodney High School as an 11th-grade student, where he excelled academically and athletically. He was expected to graduate in the class of 2027. From a young age, Jah'Marion displayed a passion for sports, playing basketball for the Dover Little League Saints and football during his youth. He continued to pursue football and track and field at Caesar Rodney High School, demonstrating dedication and a love for athletics.

Beyond sports, Jah'Marion developed a deep interest in music, inspired by the craft he observed from his grandfather and father, and through exposure to recording studios with his cousins and brother. He also dedicated time to honing his boxing skills at Darnell's Boxing Gym, often jokingly saying he was "tightening up his skills."

Jah'Marion loved spending quality time with his family, going out to eat, gathering with loved ones, jumping trucks with his uncles, and hanging out with his partner-in-crime, BriZanea. He cherished being an uncle and serving as a role model for his family, touching many lives with his kindness and generosity beyond his years.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Jah'Marion is survived by his mother Trenda Hicks (Melvin Jones), James Bacote Sims (brother), Jakaira Hicks (brother), Mary Nicole Smith (sister), Janea Renee Wiltbank (sister), Mary Ann Wiltbank (grandmother), David & Brenda Hicks (grandparents), David Hicks (uncle), Isaiah Hicks (uncle), and Tyree Hicks (uncle), Genevia R. Monroe Wiltbank (Emory Monroe) (aunt & uncle), Charlene N. Wiltbank (Micheal) (aunt), Latysha Davis (aunt), Micheal Brinkley & Keyonna Brinkley (God parents), Shawntele Hooten (God mother).  His memory will forever be treasured by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Raymond Wiltbank Jr. ("Player Jr"), and his grandfather, Jerome Raymond Wiltbank Sr. ("Player").

Jah'Marion's spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His kindness, strength, and vibrant personality will be missed but never forgotten.
