Irvin “Mickey” William Little Jr., 70 of Dover passed away on January 3, 2026 at Kent General Hospital. Born on June 14,1955 he as the son of the late Shirley S. (Kleles) and Irvin W. Little, Sr.
Mickey was born and raised in Little Creek DE and graduated from Dover High School in 1973. He had worked on crab boats on Port Mahon Road in the summer and fall. He loved fishing, crabbing and hunting. He moved to Louisiana & Texas and worked on oil rigs. He joined the United States Navy and retired in 2005 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. After retirement, he married Susan. Mickey and Sue loved the grandchildren and spending time with them. He then opened the Little Creek Duck Shop, where he made perfect wood birds of all kinds and decoys.
Mickey was married to Susan Lynn Miller. They had no children. In addition to his wife Susan Lynn Miller, he is survived by Susan’s brother, Robert Masten and two granddaughters Andria and Callie. 2 Brothers and 1 Sister: Terry Brian Little (Nancy) and their two daughters Bethany Little and Lindsey Little; Michael Scott Little Sr. (Connie) and their two children Michael Scott Little Jr. and Ashley Little; and his sister Holly Elizabeth Little and her dog Hunter and two cats.
A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
