Iris Nicole Longakit was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend who was tragically taken from her family on Saturday, December 12, 2020, just two days before her 19th birthday.
Iris was born on December 14, 2001 in Dover, DE, the daughter of Marissa Oreste-Johnson and Rey Longakit.
Iris attended Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, DE. She was a loving, compassionate, sweet soul with a beautiful smile that will be missed dearly. She had a passion for fashion, makeup and liked to change her hair style and color often, our very own fashionista who was more than happy to give you some advice. But her favorite moments were spent with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Rey Longakit and maternal grandparents Esperanza and Manuel Oreste.
Iris leaves to cherish her memory: her mother; her sisters Johanna and Mariah Johnson; Natasha Parker; stepbrother Tim Campellone; niece Siana Johnson-Clay; nephew Grayson Sammons; stepparents Joel and Kathy Johnson-Friendly; paternal grandparents Belinda and Marion Seaton, Jr. ; uncles Roy Seaton, Marion Seaton III and Carmelino Seaton; close cousins Maria “Tet Tet” Randall, Dominic Hurley, Caleb and Leah Randall; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends here in the US and in the Philippines.
Funeral Services will be held 12noon, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; a walk thru visitation will be held from 10am-12 noon, adhering with the current Covid-19 restrictions of mask wearing, social distancing, and 50 people maximum at a time.
