Howard Leonard Deputy

    Howard Leonard Deputy, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 2, 2022. He was 91.

    Howard was born December 25, 1930 in Frederica, Delaware to the late, Levi & Anna Mae(Douglas) Deputy. He worked for over 34 years for Goodwill Industries as a custodian in Wilmington then Dover before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed walking, watching baseball, and  several shows on  T.V. including Gunsmoke and the Price is Right. 

    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 11 brothers & sisters.

Howard is survived by his older sister, Edith Pauline Young, of Dover; a “grandson” Joseph Waters, Jr.;  his caregiver Wanda Harmon & her companion, Juan Rodriguez, of Dover; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   The family wishes to give a special Thank You to the Staff and Residents at Luther Towers for always providing a helping hand with Howard.

    Funeral Services will be held 11am, Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may view 1 hour before.
