Helen Szymanski Piecyk

Helen Szymanski Piecyk earned her angel wings and joined the Lord on March 19, 2021. Formerly of Phoenixville, CT, Helen has been a resident of Dover, DE since 1993.  

Helen was born November 8, 1928, to Victoria and Stanley Szymanski (deceased). She grew up in Phoenixville, CT, where she met and married the love of her life, Carroll Piecyk. Together they shared a joy-filled life raising their daughter Victoria. Helen was preceded in death by Carroll and Vicki and there was surely a joyful reunion on March 19th.  

Helen loved the outdoors. She loved gardening, travel, dining out and shopping! She always had a song to fit any situation and a hearty laugh that was a part of every conversation. Helen loved with all her heart and her kindness touched many throughout her years. 

Helen is survived by her sister, Patricia S. Edwards, and brother-in-law, Gerald R. Edwards. Additionally, she is survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Helen will be laid to rest alongside Carroll and Vicki in Ashford, Connecticut.
