Harriett D. (Dager) Miller

Harriett D. Miller of Dover, died Sunday June 1, 2025, at home surrounded by family.  She was 90.  Mrs. Miller was born August 31, 1934 in Abington, PA, daughter of the late Charles Raymond Dager and Anna (Ford) Dager.  

Mrs. Miller worked as an accountant for Playtex.  She retired approximately 35 years ago.  She was a dedicated member of the Faith Community Church, Camden and served as a bridal consultant, Sunday school teacher and helped with many other tasks at the church.  She was also a member of the Gideons.  She hosted countless foreign exchange students and opened her home to many children that needed a “mom”.

She is survived by her children, Leslie A Boyd of Newark, DE, Keith F. Miller of West Palm Beach, FL, Michelle A. Mudge of Frederica, DE, Devereaux L. Miller of Harrington, DE, Howard C. Miller of Manteca, CA and Sharon Marie Nash of Quakertown, PA (her foster daughter); Five granddaughters, Jennifer MacDonald of Dover, DE, Heather Mudge of Frederica, DE, Melissa Ward of Newark, DE, Laura Miller of Manteca, CA and Kathryn Miller of Manteca, CA; Two grandsons, Joshua Mudge of West Windsor, NY and Adam Mudge of Susquehanna, PA; and 10 great-grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be at 12 pm Wednesday, June 11th at Pippin Funeral Home, Camden, DE where the family will receive friends one hour earlier.  Burial will be in Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Gideons International, Kent County South Camp, PO Box 56, Harrington, DE 19952 .
