Harlene Williams Obituary

Harlene Williams was born on September 5, 1943 in Eastville, Virginia to the late Melinda Williams and the late Harold Moore.  She departed this life into her eternal resting place on May 20, 2020 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE.

Harlene moved to New Jersey where she was employed by Cooper Hospital as a CNA for 20 years.  When she moved back to Delaware, she worked at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.  Harlene then took a different path in the medical field working in the dietary department for Beebe Hospital before retiring.  As we know Harlene, she could not sit still so she became an aid at the preschool in Dover, DE until her health started to decline.  This caused her to move in with her daughter Darlene Banks before residing at Harbor Health Care in Lewes, DE.

Harlene Williams was loved by many.  She was a hard worker and also loved to shop.  Harlene loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church services.  As shown with her persistence in the medical field, she had a joy for helping others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Williams, her daughter Barbara Williams; her four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Harlene leaves to cherish her memory to her four children:  Michael Williams of Camden, DE, Shavon Williams of Salisbury, MD, Darlene Banks of Georgetown, DE and Robert Williams of Salisbury, MD; four sisters: Helene Williams of Camden, NJ, Josephine Byrd of Mappsville, VA, Charlotte Williams of Frankford, DE and Nancy Davis (Vincent) of Frankford, DE; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
