Gwendolyn Weaver

Gwendolyn (Wendee) Weaver passed in peace at her home on April 19, 2022 in Harbeson, DE at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward (Ed) Weaver, 2020.

Wendee was born on March 18, 1947 in Seattle, WA to Dode and Gary Raymond; moving to Wilmington, DE as a child where she graduated from Brandywine High School in 1965. She worked at ICI Americas/AstraZeneca for many years retiring to enjoy traveling and following the NASCAR circuit with her husband and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Weaver (grandmother to Brandon) and Julee (Dan) Schwieger (grandmother to Ryan Steward, Natalee Schwieger, and Kristeen (Jason) Chubb, their children, great-grandchildren, Christopher, Lukas and Makenzee); her brother Stan (Beth) Raymond of Vallejo, CA and their children Laurel and Zak; niece Deirdre of Wilmington, NC.

She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her. A private memorial will be held for family at a date to be determined.
