Guishia "Ish" Katrina Jones

     Guishia Katrina  "Ish" Jones was born on September 27,1981 and departed May the 7th 2021 at Christiana Hospital at 7:14 a.m.

     Guishia attended Caesar Rodney High School in Camden Delaware, where she graduated in 1999.  She also graduated from Harris School of Business in Dover DE as a Medical Assistant. Ish was employed at Perdue Farms in Milford DE, Amazon in Middletown DE, she worked as a loan officer for Delaware Title and Loan Company and worked for Merry Maids cleaning services. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Some of her hobbies were running track, dancing, singing karaoke, and playing with her baby dog (Princess). Guishia recommitted her life to the Lord at Working Progress Ministries, in February 2021 in which she began to serve at her father’s church in Millington MD.

     She was preceded in death by both of her grandfathers Thomas L Boyer, and Reuben E Jones, and her two grandmothers, Gertrude A Jones and Gladys B Boyer: her step father Michael Johnson; four step brothers; three of her aunts, Wanda Boyer-Miles, Mitzi Boyer, Delphine Jones, and two of her uncles Clifton Rudolf Wilson, and Howard E Boyer. 

     She leaves to mourn, her Loving mother Joyce B Johnson, her dad Guy E. Jones Sr. and Stepmother Sherrilyn Jones of Worton MD, two sister’s Shelita Jones from Dover, DE and Shania and Van Thomas, Worton MD;  one brother and sister-in-law Guy Jr and Taneka Jones of Worton MD and six nieces; three aunts: Helen Sweets of Chestertown MD, Iris Jones of New Castle DE., and Cathleen Boyer of Newark DE; one uncle Thomas Boyer of Newark DE and a host of cousins and friends.

     There will be a funeral service 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021at Work In Progress Ministries, 104 Legion Road, Millington, MD  21651 where there will be a viewing from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday.  Burial will follow in Graves Chapel UAME Church Cemetery, Millington.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
