Georgiann Crapper-Ward, 80, of Magnolia, DE went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Bay Health Kent Campus in Dover, Delaware.
Georgiann Crapper-Ward was born in Agusta, GA. Georgiann grew up in Siloam A.M.E. Church under the leadership of the late: Reverend Harry O. Coxen singing in the #2 choir as a young adult. She attended William C. Jason Comprehensive High School and later graduated from Kent Vocational Technical School. She worked several jobs which she retired from Sussex Company in Milford & NBNA Bank of Newark, DE: She held other jobs after retiring (Walmart, KenCrest, Transportation Unlimited, and Capitol School District) because she could not sit home with nothing to do.
Later in Life, Georgiann attended Canaan Full Gospel Church with her husband under the leadership of Apostle Marion L. Lott in Houston, DE.
In her spare time, Georgiann loved shopping with her daughter, and playing cards with her grandson, and husband. She loved beating them. She also enjoyed hanging with her friends: the late-Mrs. Emma Pope, Gloria Rawles-Durant, Leslie Gibbs, and Marcie Byus. Her girl posse: Vernetta Foxe, Veronica Brown, Vergie Benton, Lajuene Adams, and Yvette Furbert.
Georgiann was proceeded in death by her Mother & Father, Edna & Haywood R. Burton; Grandmother, Juanita Neal; Uncle, Jimmy Neal (Norma); Aunt, Voanita Elmandorf.
Georgiann leaves to cherish her memories, her Husband Densil Ward of 2 beautiful years; daughter, Sharon Farlow (Marvin); four sons: Harry Crapper Jr. (Lisa), Kevin Crapper (Elaine), Jonathan Crapper, Kendall Crapper (Karen); two sisters, Gloria Daniels, Valerie Washington (Darrell); 2 aunts, Maggielean Neal, Dorthylean Manlove (Joseph); four grandchildren, Marvin Farlow, Marlon Farlow, Haliya Crapper, and Kendrese Moorer; and a host of great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Caanan Full Gospel Church, 283 School Street, Houston, Delaware.
