Gary Patten

Gary B. Patten Sr., 58, passed away on April 7, 2026, at Pennsylvania Medical Center.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Paula Wiley and extended family McKenzie, Savanah and Tristan of Delaware; his sons, Gary B. Patten Jr. and his fiancée, Alyssa Rively, and Ryan Patten of Florida and his companion, Nikki Greggins; his father, George Patten; and his cherished grandchildren, Aria, Gage, Blaise, and London.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lou Patten, and his brothers, Allen Thomas Patten and Christopher Paul Patten.
A private burial will be held at Thomas Chapel Cemetery in Marydel, Delaware.
A celebration of life will take place on May 24, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 651 Bay Road, Dover, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
